Tubelab SE with 45 tubes only - Page 2

Interesting! I have been looking at building a 45SE amp. Been looking hard at the Bugle circuit and still may build it. But now I have options.

Kevin, thanks! I am considering building a pair of horns to go with this amp but have not decided what to build. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Thank you Russ! Your posts in the other threads helped me a lot. I must admit that the pictures on your blog inspired me with the side hanging silicons. Installing the capacitors on the back side of the PCB was straightforward but the regulator, mosfets and diodes were getting me concerned. It eventually came together pretty well.

No prob...yeah it takes a little creative lead-bending but it can be done!
