Default SS Rectification

Looking for opinions.

I need a B+ of a little of 400V for something I am working out (slightly modified williamson with 1625's Triode strapped)

My Power Tranny only has 340-0-340 so with Tube rectification my voltage loss is to high.

I have not used SS rectification for the B+ before (I like tubes) but in this case I am willing to go to SS to use available parts.

Recommendations on what Diodes to use?

need 420-430 @ 200mA

Boywonder,

The looking at the data sheet the cathode is tied to the metal flange.

when you use these how do you Isolate it from the chassis and do you use any heatsinking?

I don't tie them to the chassis or use any heat sinks. They are rated for 8A, and we are usually running 200ma or so through them. These are usually around $1.80/ea at Mouser, I noticed that they are presently 75 cents/ea and they will not be stocked in the future...

Thanx
