I find the practice of sneering at others for fun to be distasteful in the extreme. There are plenty of other places to have sophomoric "fun".

Its not for fun - its for education. Hopefully the snake oil purchasers will learn, although given their propensity for suspension of thought process, I have my doubts.

And in any case, how is it any different from the sneers of derision bandied about by some of the name "engineers" (themselves often proponents or promoters of some pretty questionable enhancements) frequenting these fora?
