Default Anyone used the TL783 as a CCS

Just came across the TL783 and thought of it as a good candidate for a cathode CCS.
Anyone got any experience.

If you need a good, high voltage CCS consider the Supertex depletion MOSFETs -- DN2540N5 -- they are about $1.60 over here -- take a look at part II of Walt Jung's article on current sources from 2007 it's on the AudioXpress website -- take particular note of the regulator using the LM317+DN2540.

I hate ordering from abroad, postage on small orders is prohibitive.
I have had good experience with LM317's in cathode CCS duty. I have had slightly less good success with the IXY chips. This is becazuse they tend to be much more variable in how they bias up and I would imagine the DN254 to be similar.
