Ok firstly i am new to the valve screen and i have limited knowledge about these device's .
i would like to make a tone control circuit that i found in the RDH4 book, it is base around a 6sf5 metal type tube i think it is a pentode i might be wrong it has 8 pins. How would i go about subbing that valve for a 9 pin base one i was thinking i could use a ecc85 or 12at7. Any help would be appreciated Skal |
