Hi Diyers, thanks
My pocket only be allowed CXSE series of Edcor, the transcend or the One Electron for my projects with SET amps, 300B, 2A3, 45, I appreciate suggestions and experiences between these output transformers. Want to change the output transformers in my 300B, 45 and 2A3. Thanks in advance http://www.edcorusa.com/Products/Bro...px?SeriesID=35 trascendar in ebay http://www.one-electron.com/trans.html |

I would recommend the Lundahl OPT that I found with the best sound and best value.

I've used the (older) 3K Transcendar which was designed for the 300B or 2A3 and thought it was pretty good, particularly for the money. IMHO can't go wrong for the price.. (They'd still be pretty good at twice the price)
You might also consider Electra-Print Audio for some transformers as Jack will custom build transformers to your specification probably for not much more money than the One Electrons. (I have had him make a number of custom OPTS for me.)

What speakers are you using? How many ohms and what's the frequency response? Will these speakers be changed out in the future? What is budget's upper limit? It would be hard to offer informed advice without knowing all of this.
