Hi Rui!
Congratulations. Looks awsome!
Not necessary to run these in parafeed
Thomas
Many thanks Thomas, this was possible with lots of your help!
Hi!
Yes, correct
Thomas
Thomas to avoid any mistake I have to connect B+ to pin 18 & pin 13 to plate, pin 8 output positive & pin 10 output negative?
Yes, correct
Thomas
Felipe, I don't understand it.
Please sketch some schematic.
ps. : some posts are missing?
Thanks euro21 for help, now I know is better one CCS+gyrator for each tube.
I dont have any specific schematic. I have a breadboard somewhere with some 3-4 A 200ish mH chokes for the katodes, just to see if I can build something that matches Rods optimum sand-stuff. 1660 PP was thought for the anodes and I usually start with conventional stuff before I implement the special made goodies. Just to learn the difference and hear the eventual improvement. Otherwise its as most on this thread. 5-6 mA on the curve, I dont remember the voltage.

Running at 600mA each, I had the sinks, they fitted the board, and both Supertex and IRF devices are attached to it. Nevertheless it runs completely over specs and almost cold!
Obviously it's 60mA and not 600!!!
Sorry for the wrong information.
Still 60mA it's a lot of current for 26.
Don't forget I have another CCS in front of Salas regulator, plus VR tubes, the tube is running at 4,5mA.
But you are using only or Salas or CCS+VR, only one, not?
No, Salas + CCS + VR.
I had both, and I don't see any harm on it, and the VR tubes look wonderfull.
See Ale's schematic on his blog, #26, version 2.

I would recomend sometime to bypass the VR tubes and try the salas regulator directly on the load. Maybe you like it netter like this, or not. It' s going to be an interesting test anyway!
