50 set amp
Hi diyers, thanks
One friend gifted me with a one Radiotron RCA 50 tubes, tried it on my clone WE91 (6C6-300B)and was amazed by its sound. According to the worksheet the 50 is not recommended for use in RC circuits. My sets are RC. So things the alternatives are: Interstage Transformers LC Gridchoke Direct Coupled The most economical for my pocket at the moment is the Direct Coupled, for which modify the WE91 300B, thinking of the next circuit http://www.dhtrob.com/schemas/afbeeldingen/50dckop.gif In place of ECC32 would use 6F8G or 6SN7, operating points please..volts/mA/opt K for the ECC32 circuit. 4.5 or 5K =Z1 i think is the better Z1 for the 50, I appreciate your comments and suggestions, again thanks, |
