What rectifier do you Use for 900v DC?I know there are diods that can take 1200v and the 3 1N4007 in series, but I rather not build it on a experiment board.I there any pcb´s for this?

816 too( and you'll need two of each in either case).
Without Hg vapour, there are lots of damper diodes like 6AX4 that will tolerate PIV quite well enough. 6W4, 6AU4 too and all are octal of the same pin-out, though with nearly 2:1 difference in heater current. See TDSL for data. cheers, Douglas

Damper diodes? They have a 900V limit between cathode and heater, so one can still ground the heater, while the cathode is at 900V!
