A need help...altough I'm happy with my Dodd Pre-Amp, I've been offered a pair of these 6922.
They have gold pins, Made in Germany and marked "VIS" as you can see in the pics attached. Price: about US$45 for the pair. I've been searching and the only VIS reference is about Acoustic Research gear Thanks for your help, I'm not an expert, just love the tube sound sch |

Marked "VSI" which is the name of an outfit in Burbank Ca. that makes professional studio gear. I doubt this tube is one of theirs somehow though.

..except that they have gold-plated pins and say "made in Germany" not Russia.

A nice price for German 6922 with gold plated pins.Probably East German RFT's,can't be bad IMO

I think "suck 'em and see" is probably your best bet. I found a Russian 829B for sale on eBay with the VSI logo printed on it so presumably they were a re-seller/re-brander like Groove Tubes, but they don't seem to exist anymore.
