Default Steve Bench LR Phono Amp. with (Sowter or Dave irons)

Dear all,

I am very interested in trying the Steve Bench LR (no C) Phono Tube Preamp, but I have to select transformers and inductors either from Sowter and Dave.

Dave's are around 80% more expensive, but the cores (49% or 80% nickel) are much better.

I just want to know anybody have tried either or both. If yes, grateful to have your comments, please. Any information and ideas are welcome.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,
TC MA

(PS: I have posted the same question on Audioasylum.)
