Steve Bench LR Phono Amp. with (Sowter or Dave irons)
Dear all,
I am very interested in trying the Steve Bench LR (no C) Phono Tube Preamp, but I have to select transformers and inductors either from Sowter and Dave. Dave's are around 80% more expensive, but the cores (49% or 80% nickel) are much better. I just want to know anybody have tried either or both. If yes, grateful to have your comments, please.
