I was thinking about changing my guitar amp from a standard head to using separate preamps / poweramp. This way I can pick from three different preamps for rhythm, lead, and clean, and have a single power amp. Does anyone on this forum do this? How well does it work? Are preamp outputs switchable? (By which I mean, can I plug a preamp into an ABY pedal and switch them while both the preamp and power amps are on without ******* up either one?) Is the preamp signal splittable? Can I get a simple splitter cable and plug one preamp into two power amps without any loss of signal quality?
I think that's all the questions I have... |
