Quick Volume pot question

So if I use a 100k pot for the volume on my stereo buffer (both halves of one tube), would I use a 250k pot on a pair of buffers? (for pair stereo channels)

If you use 100K per channel now, then use 100K per channel when you add more channels. Or maybe I missed the point.

I'm not sure that I understand the question either........If you are using 100K for one channel, wouldn't you use 100K x 2 (stereo pot) for two channels?

4 channels, 2 stereo pairs, 1 stereo pot, 2 channels per stack. So a single volume control for each channel, I couldn't find a 100k Alpha quad pot.

All really nice

but I'm talking about an Alpha Co. pot that would be ~$5 bucks. I never really liked stepped attenuators. I know Alpha makes a quad pot, its just I can't find someone who sells it. So if I can't use a 100k quad (dual stereo) pot then I have to run the right channels off of one stack and the left channels off of the other stack. I figured that I would have to use a different value pot.
