Question Hickok 600A & KT88

Is there anybody out there?
I have the Hickok 600A valve tester in good working condition.
It can test hundreds of valves but the ones i use like kt88,s el84,s
el34,s are not to found on the "Scroll" not even the american equivalents.
Does anyone know the values/figures of these valves so i can adjust the letters, numbers, bias, english, on the tester so i can test my valves.
Make my day please!
Cheers.

EL84=6BQ5
EL34=6CA7

Check your roll chart for the 6XXX numbers. Additional info can be found here:

I use the "foreign tubes" roll chart for the Hickok 800 for the KT88 values to test these on my 600a. PM me with your email address and I will send you this data in PDF if you want it; it's from the site below. If you have 6CA7 and 6BQ5 data on your roll chart, compare those settings to the settings for El34 & El84 on the foreign tube data for the 800a; they should be the same.

The 6000 series and 800 series circuits are the same as the 600a for the settings, and I have used these settings successfully on my 600a. The only tube that I have not been able to test on the 600a is the 300b.

Hi Boywonder,
I have red your message about roll charts for Hickok tube testers.Do you have a complete tube chart for Hickok 800?
Thanks,Regards,pepperman69.

Pepperman: PM me your email address and I will send you what I've got. The PDF's are way too big to post here. For the 800 I have the foreign tube chart, and an obsolete tube chart. I have several other charts that may be applicable also.

Dear Boywonder,
I am new on this site and I find really amazing that another member (like you),could answer me quickly and succesfully to my request.I searched inside internet but I couldn't find any information about this matter.The only thing I found was a tube data for 600 or for 600A,I don't remember maybe I didn't search a lot.I have two questions to ask you:
1) When you say foreign tube chart you mean European codes like ECC83 instaid of 12AX7?
2) When you say obsolete,what do you mean?
My e-mail is : yngaro@gmail.com
I have some others questions to ask about tube testers but I don't want to bother you,so,I will ask them in time if you don't mind.
Thank you in advance for everything.
Have a Happy Christmas and ahappy new year with health,love and happiness

1) yup, exactly.....lots of ECCXX, ELXX, etc.

2) older DHT 4 pin jobbies, etc.

Do you have any tube data for your 800? I'm no expert but I think the settings are the same as the 600a, etc. After I send you what I've got you can see if the setting for a 12AX7, etc is the same between the charts.
