Default 805ae

Hi, I don't suppose you have a schematic for the 805ae.
I am wanting to convert mine to balanced input.
I tried Cary direct but no luck.

I do not have schematics for the 805ae. However, the easiest way to provide balanced input is to add a transformer in front of the input tube. You can easily build a mockup following the schematic below:

Additionally, Jensen has a detailed app note on converting to/from balanced/unbalanced.

I actually bought some Nos Beyer transformers to make an adapter, just not got around to trying it.
I know that the 805ae is available in balanced version and am sure its just a small internal wiring difference.
