Combining B+ supplies and heaters in one transformer is not such a great idea IME.

I have heard this before, but am looking for a little more info. How about for rectifiers? See any concerns with using the same tranny for B+ and heating the rectifiers? Typically, I will use a separate split bobbin tranny for the audio tubes.
What about in those shared applications using a common mode choke with ceramic caps at the heater pins?
