31 tube in output

Friends

I have interest in use the type 31 in output...
Anyone have experience with the 31 in output ?
My last experience is with the 3c24 and it sound very fine, a sweet tube. This unknow tubes can sound very fine.

31 is a great sounding tube - sweet and very musical. One of my favourites. Great driver or line stage. Can be microphonic but there you go.

But as an output?

Headphones maybe?

Yes, as output.
I can use a pair in paralell and obtain 800mW.
I want use in my PC computer output.
Will work fine, with the adequate power for the small boxes and with high sound quality.

How is the filament to work with in the 31?

Ran across this thread and it got me thinking that just maybe I had a pair of 31's hidden away in my tube stash and sure enough I found a pair. I think they are only capable of about 3/8 of a watt surely not much. Anyone used them as a line stage? If so would you care to share your circuit and or observations and comments.
