Hi all, i have recently bought a 300b tube from an online source with a bayonet pin which is located at the valve base missing. it is the small round metal pin that protrudes a few mm from the side of the valve base.returning for refund from seller is a hassle. any impact on the function of the tube?

Only if you use an antique bayonet-style socket... don't think those have been made in years. The bayonet pin is a vestigial organ... like an appendix...

It has as much to do with the function of the tube as the ink in the marking...
