Hi All,
I will start building Glenn's version of Mikael SE KT88 amp when I receive my custom-made "irons". While waiting for them, I would like to hear some views from other users of the Mikael and its variants on using a line stage for this amp.......
I foresee that an external line stage will be needed as I have a few sources that I would like to connect to this amp....
May I know which of the following options would be the preferred choice for this amp?
a. Passive, mechanical selector (switches, relays and etc)
b. Mechanical selector followed by Buffer Stage
c. Mechanical selector followed by Gain Stage
d. Others
I would appreciate any views/comments/advices on this issue.
Thank you

Hi sorenj07,
I can do what you have mentioned and make a multiple inputs SE amp if no extra gain is needed.
Thanks for your input.
