simple se success!

Well, i finally managed to finish my tubelab simple se and got it all into the chassis, after problems with blown fuses and rectifier tubes i found the problem with an out of spec cap. . . .

All i wanted to say was thanks to you guys for your help, and thanks to george for a great diy product, its been a great learning process and the start of what i imagine to be a lifelong hobby

Not the best pics but you get the idea, just need to source a nice volume knob and wire the power on led light.
i can't believe how good this thing sounds, i have some nice iron on there and it weighs around 36lbs in total. . .

Its in my system for a long while yet.

Nice One!

The best is when, before you switch it on, you think to yourself "is it going to blow up?" you flick the switch and the valves glow and music comes on for the 1st time as planned!
