Hello,
I am ready to move on with my KT88 SE project and I am up to choose the transformers for it. I was looking at something at the low hi-end range, not as expensive as Tango and Tribute but close to them with very good performance. After I looked at the forums I came up to two possibilities - Silk output transformer S-325 made by SAC at the cost of about 196 euro for a pair ( if ordered directly from him ) and Mr. Elliano`s Electra Print transformers at the cost of 251 euro for a pair ( no shipping charges are included in both prices ). I had a short communication with Jack and I have to say he is a great man. I also know Kittipol from SAC as we have already ordered his transformers and they were great. My question is: How do the Electra Print SE transformers compare to the Silk transformers? ( I would appreciate If anybody has compared both the Electra Print and the Silk S-325 ) Thanks!
