Glow tube shunt reg stability

Does anyone know whether using a glow tube shunt to regulate the plate voltage of an input tube with a reactive (choke) plate load will cause instability problems ?

Actually, the choke may help to stabilize conduction in a VR tube, but it may need to be a big one to have significant effect.
