Default Tube Pin Schematic Question

Quick question......what pin do I connect the wire to from the standby switch on the 5Y3?

Oh....very true....

I don't know why, but wiring tubes from schematics confuses me. I think it'll come along with time and experimenting though.

It's not you. That schematic is drawn incorrectly. The symbol for the rectifier shows the cathode as isolated from the heater, which is incorrect for a 5Y3.

For standby You must put switch on middle wire /ground/ between 298 & 298 V.
