"Bevois Valley" in triode, what to do with the feedback?
If I wired "Bevois Valley" in triode (using 560 Ohm Rk), what to do with the feedback?
A. Leave the current one as is
B. Remove them out ( i.e. no negative feedback)
C Adjust the value of feedback (if then, to what value?)
According to the Mullard data sheet, you get 5W out of PP triode-connected EL84. In voltage terms, that's really not much different to 10W, so why not just try the feedback as is and see whether you like it?
To remove the feedback, undo the end of the feedback resistor going to the output transformer and connect it directly to ground.
