Reclaimed Hammond H100 PSU's
2 Attachment(s)
I reclaimed some Hammond PSU's. I stripped and repainted them, added IEC sockets, a fuse, switch, and a Fender style jewel lamp. Now the only question is, what to power with them... I was thinking maybe a Kt-88 PP amp?

What kind of voltages does it put out? Do you have a schematic of them?
They look beefy enough for some PP KT88 monoblocks,or something. :) |
Here is the schematic

As it existed in the Hammond organ. There are a lot of taps off of each of the windings, and the dang things weigh about 35 pounds each. Each of the high voltage windings are choke input. I eliminated most of the stuff in the supplies, I'm going to get 4 100uf/100uf twistlock caps for the filter sections after the chokes. I'm also thinking about wiring a mosfet gyrator in each one... All of the taps and the weight makes me think that it can supply a lot of current, but I have to find out how to measure exactly how much...

The DC resistance across the HV windings ought to give you some idea.
