I don´t know if this combination is possible at all? Maybe if you are going to PTP-wireing the amplifier???.
According to Broskies kits this is not possible since the 6SN7 is a 8-pin tube and the 5687 is a 9-pin tube.
AFAIK the 5687 has a very good reputation so if you would like this tube in the output stage you could try the 6CG7 (alternatively; 6FQ7 = 6CG7 without the screen between plates) instead. The 6CG7 is the 9-pin version of the 6SN7.
