Anybody managed to buy OPT's from EdcorEurope?
The Company holding the franchise is not a million miles from me, I asked for a quote for 2 XSE15-8-5K and to my suprise I got a quote back almost immediatelty. I replied giving my address and asking for a PayPal Invoice and that's the last I heard from them. I have sent e-mails to both the EdcorEurope address and the guys Skynet mail account. |

I asked EDcor USA about the nickel option to one of their products and it took 10 days to get a response.

Having delt with Edcor USA a few times, I can say they are kind of old school. Meaning that it's better to deal with them and place orders by phone. If your doing a custom project they transfer you to a technician to get your requirements, which is good. I think they only take web orders if you have a business account with them.
I'm not sure if Edcor Europe is the same way or not. |

I never got the promised email confirmation from Edcor USA
after speaking with them about it twice. But in about 2 weeks, did get my transformers. And no complaints regarding Edcor iron once it arrived. I don't know if my experience was typical. |

Never had a problem with Edcor USA at all and Brian or Phyllis usually respond within 48 hours
For non-account or delivery questions, like technical questions and stuff, you can use their forum: http://www.audiotransformers.net/forum/index.php Cheers! |

I can also attest that it is much better to talk to them on the phone. Sometimes they respond to their sales email within a day, other times I do not get a response. They are always helpful over the phone, though, and things happening quickly after that.

I have done three transformer designs now and have gotten email responses within a couple of days.(Edcor USA) Apparently business is good and they said that my order placed last week would take three weeks to build.

Klimon:
Here's the quote I received: "Thanks for your mail. There's no Euro pricelist anymore as the USD<>Euro is way to unstable. We sell XSE15-8-5K at 29,20 euro each . Shipping to Brussles is 6 euro. We accept both IBAN and Paypal, albeit for the latter at 4% extra to cover the expenses Paypal charges. I need your address to make up the invoice. Kind regards, Tony" I sent my address (twice) and thats the last I heard |
