Hi,
I am considering to make a headphone OTL amplifier - one stage only- for high impedence type like Shennaiser. I have thinked, why not a basic 5998 ( 1/2 for channel) in common cathode mode ( like 1930 Eventually, I can place a chocke load, no? ( only if indispensable) A fast research in e-bay say nothing, zero for 5998! Is it so rare? every comment will be appreciate, Thanks, Paolo |

Look for 7236. Same tube with computer ratings. I got several from Ebay but it was a few years ago.
