Digging around my unsorted stockpile of odd tubes, I uncovered a few Cunningham CX310's.
Looking at them had me wondering about throwing together a low power Guitar amp, maybe SE class A about .75-1W. Any input? |

Hey,
That looks like a good starting point, but one of the things that concerns me ( Since I intend to use it as a conversation piece guitar amp) is the Output transformer. I kind of had my eye on an Edcor GXSE10-8-10K but it might be a bit larger than needed? |

Using a CX310 as a guitar amplifier...it would be a conversation piece. 10's make beautiful SE amps of about a watt, but could make a nice line amplifier, a few have done that around here and are very pleased with the sound. I could be wrong but you should be able to use a 5k:8R transformer instead of the 10K:8R.
