Hi,
I will be using two EI power transformers for one amplifier in one chassis. One for preamp other for poweramp. How should I orient them against each other for minimal induced hum? Thank you. |

There will be no significant interaction regardless of orientation - millivolts in or out of phase won't matter. The magnetic field THEY generate will vary though - move them as necessary to minimize coupling into output or other transformers. It's even possible that that positioning the two transformers for maximum coupling will result in the least radiated field...
