I'm helping a friend repair a vintage guitar amp and I noticed that 550V caps are called out on the schematic. Is there a good brand that is available at a supplier like Digi-Key or one of the tube-related houses? Almost if not all the parts I've found seem to top out at 500V.
Thanks!

Sprague still lists an Atom electrolytic rated at 20uf@600VDC. Steve at Angela has them.
Regards, KM

Not cheap, but Mouser has these:
600V, 20uF 600V, 10uF 600V, 20uF Do you have room in the chassis to series connect a pair of 300 volt rated caps? Don't forget the voltage balancing resistor in parallel with each cap. |
