Default 4211D Amp?

4211D is electrically equivalent with the 211 tube, right?
Does this tube deserve the headache the power supply is going to give me?
I hesitate getting into the 1,000 Volts zone.

Great sound like 45 or 2A3?
In short, is it worth the trouble or not?
