Epiphone Galaxy 25 transformer problem
 

Hi all, I am a bit of a novice but here is my issue. Epiphone made two versions of the Galaxy Amp. One was made in China, and the other in Korea. I have a Korean model and the transformer blew. I had a local tech replace it with something else and after a couple of gigs the fuses started blowing. I am worried that the transformer is not working.
Does anyone know what I would need to look for or what the original transformers were? Can you not simply use a common transformer and then a series of resistors to step down the rectified voltage?
