i have preamp that has too much gain that i only have small adjustment range in the volume control from 7 oclock to 8 oclock on the pot only.
i am using ldr as volume control the preamp i build is http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/show...806#post1609806 will the voltage devider on the output do the job? such as: resistor of 24k series with signal input then 1k to ground before pot or attenuator help reduce ard 28db with Zin = 25k and Zout 960 ohm do the job? or i better of converting this gain amplifier to 0db buffer? how? any input is really appriciated.
