Default Need Schematic for 12 Volt Tube Buffer

Hi everybody, i hope you can help me. I need a schematic for a tube buffer with a gain of 0 dB. Id like to use the 6AK5/EF 95.
It doesnt have to be a line stage, just want to add some tube sound. Thx Thorsten

Why not use a soft limiter ?
Same sound as a tube but much cheaper and less lethal to build !

Hi Nigel, what is a soft limiter? I dont want to build a buffer with lethal voltages, the EF95 really works with 12 Volt. And it will cost a few Euros 2 Tubes 2 Sockets some resistors and some caps
maybe 10 Euros will do. Best regards Thorsten

If your valve works with 12 volts then I would use that.

A soft limiter basically rounds off the top of the waveform instead of squaring it off.

Sadly I cant find the cct diagram of the one I used to use.
But it was an opamp amplifier with two transistors in the feedback loop with a rounding off level set by a pot.
