Wiring Filaments with Center Tapped Secondaries

DC Filament Wiring

Nothing like resurrecting an old post...

I have but one question:

How should I wire the filaments of an ECC83 and ECC88 when I have a regulated 6.3V filament supply? Here's what I'm thinking (which guarantees that its wrong):

Pin 4 (f): +6.3VDC
Pin 5 (f): PSU Ground
Pin 9 (ground): PSU Ground

I've only used AC on the filaments before, so I'm confused about this (obviously).

WRONG! Shoud be pin 4 and pin 5 to 6.3v and pin 9 to ground, otherwise only one filament will be lit.

You always make sure that the potential like between your cathode and filaments are near equal.
