Hi all!
Can you tell me if it is possible to change 6BL7 tube in application shown below to any other tube? I want to cut costs of this amp, so i though of changing 6SL7 with 6N9S (rus 6H9C) and 6BL7 with... Yeah, with what? Maybe 6N8S should be okey with some changes? Both them have similiar amplification factor. I know that good replecement tubes for 6BL7 are ECC99, CV5039, E182CC, but they costs same as 6BL7 and are even harder to buy in Poland :/ There was also topic about changing 6BL7 and people said that it can be substituted be - 6s4a, 6ew7, 7044, 6gf7 - impossible to buy in Poland :/ Thanks for all replies. If 6BL7 is similar to ECC99 perhaps you can take a look at the russian 6N6P?

But 6N6P can only take 120V at anode, am i right?
