Frank here was helpful in making that choice firmly in favour of the RJM plan. He further offered valuable advice in tweaking the circuit. I am very pleased with the sound. |

Bottlehead doesn't always take 6 weeks. I got my Seduction (this past Friday) in 3 weeks. My Foreplay (with Anticipation and Sweet Whispers) in 3 DAYS.
My Paramours were a bit longer, but understandable. I'm about 80% of the way through construction, and I will say that I have NEVER seen or read anything detailing construction like this. With the Cornet, you may get a circuit board; with the Seduction, you'll learn things that will stand you in good stead for every piece of equipment you build in the future. Just my opinion, of course. |

I have personally listened to the Seduction from a friend and they sound magnificent, highly recommended. As for do it yourself, I recommend Steve Bench RIAA5 designed, that uses 12AY7 and 6DJ8s, I personally have these and compared them with the Seduction. At first, the seduction sounded better, but maybe it was because of the caps and resistors that I was using on the RIAA network, they were no name brand polystyrene, then after replacing them with panasonic polypropylenes from digi-key, they now sounded just as good, if not better than the Seductions. But for the price and simplicity, Seduction is the way to go.
