I have a bunch of 6SN7's lying around that I want up to build a preamp with. There was a 6Moons article a while back that pictured the 6SN7 Moebius Linestage you built for Terry Cain. I have seen your 6AQ5 and 6T4 versions, would you be willing to provide insight into the schematic for the 6SN7 version?

I tried searching AudioAsylum and came up empty. Lots of posts but, no references to the 6SN7 version.

Yo.  Hold on a minute, I'll draw the schem small-sized so I can stick it in one of these posts.  The problem with the original 6SN7 circuit was that it just had too much hum, but with the 6AQ5 power supply, it's dead quiet.  Watch out for microphonic 6SN7s, though.  Bad fer the rez.

Good sound, this; as good as the 6T4 circuit, though it doesn't have the drive.  Plenty for tube amps, though.

I'm still enjoying my 6V6 Music Machine (upgraded with better OTs since I snapped a pic of it), but if I need a preamp, I'll be building a Moebius.

6SN7 Moebius preamp and power supply prototype. Note that I am using a somewhat different power supply circuit.
