Aikido vibration issue

I am building an Aikido line level pre. I have all of the componenents mounted to an aluminum toplate. When I power it up I can feel a slight vibration when I lightly brush against the plate with my finger. This must be from the Trannie. I have rubber mounted the trannie and I can still feel it. The aikido board is mounted on stand-offs and when i touch the tubes I don't feel the vibration. So is this something that will have an audible consequence? Also I only feel it if I'm brushing lightly. If I touch it with any pressure I don't feel anything.

Are you sure it really is a vibration? I have felt very similar sensations with a light touch from ungrounded metal work. Your chassis should have a good direct ground through a third wire in the power cord. If not, give that a try.

That is a very good point the chassis is not grounded currently! I will try that and report back.

That sensation gets worst the higher the voltage is. You should feel what it's like at 15kv, like a paint shaker LOL.

Great troubleshooting! Grounded the chassis and everything is fine. There is some wonderful talent on this site.
