Default 1939 Radioshack Catalog online...Anyone have a time machine?

I saw this and I figured everyone wouldn't mind a peek. Tube prices on page 3 . 2A3s are cheaper than 6L6s!!

That is awesome. You just change the date in the header and go to whatever year you want. Man does that bring back some memories. I've owned quite a few of those goodies over the years starting about the 1974 catalogue.

Thanks for that!

My favorite is the WE 300A for $10.10.

According to this calculator (and who knows if it is reasonable or not) that translates into about $160 today, which is still a pretty good deal.

The 307A for $13.65 is also pretty good, as those are still about $13.65.

Have you looked at the ones from the 40"s? I think they are the best. You could buy a Mcintosh Mc275 from radio shack and I think it was less then 200 bucks.

I was going to check but the site is maxed out

It seems to be down from here too...too bad. Hopefully it comes back, I hadn't even gotten into the 50s yet.

But the MC275 wasn't around back in the 1940s...

I got an error 509 (allocated site bandwidth exceeded) when I tried to access the site a couple of minutes ago.
