I saw this and I figured everyone wouldn't mind a peek. Tube prices on page 3
. 2A3s are cheaper than 6L6s!!http://www.radioshackcatalogs.com/catalogs/1939/ |

That is awesome. You just change the date in the header and go to whatever year you want. Man does that bring back some memories. I've owned quite a few of those goodies over the years starting about the 1974 catalogue.
Thanks for that! |

My favorite is the WE 300A for $10.10.
According to this calculator (and who knows if it is reasonable or not) that translates into about $160 today, which is still a pretty good deal. The 307A for $13.65 is also pretty good, as those are still about $13.65. |

Looks like we slash-dotted the site.

Have you looked at the ones from the 40"s? I think they are the best. You could buy a Mcintosh Mc275 from radio shack and I think it was less then 200 bucks.
I was going to check but the site is maxed out Nick |

It seems to be down from here too...too bad. Hopefully it comes back, I hadn't even gotten into the 50s yet.

But the MC275 wasn't around back in the 1940s...
I got an error 509 (allocated site bandwidth exceeded) when I tried to access the site a couple of minutes ago.
