Default MTP6N60E replacement

Hi all,

I want to build the 12AX7 preamp kit described here.

Problem is it is using the MTP6N60E transistor in the power supply which I can't find in the uk.

Can someone propose an replacement transistor or give guidance on select a different one?

indeed

do you think picking any 600V 6A FET would work?

In defense of Chatzive, I believe that the "T" in FET stands for transistor (i.e. Field Effect Transistor).
