tube tester how can i tell if have match pair?
the tube tester i have only has a needle says if good or need to be replace is thier still a way with this tube tester??? |

Hi,
If your tube tester is a straight emission tester, fuggitabboutit - your grids could be burned clean out and the tube still shows good on an emission tester. You need something to show the transconductance (or "mutual conductance" tester) or at least DC dynamics of the tube (grid shift tester). Hope this helps. Cheers! |
