big ol' 26lb. output transformer...

here's one for ya. i came across a pair of diy made monoblocks recently. they used 4 6550 tubes and weigh about 75lbs. each.
i was told they were made in the early 90's.

the output tranny says "MB electronics part# 137427b".
i found a "mb electronics" on the web and called them about it but they say they are not the manufacturer and dont do transformers.

these things are huge! 6in. tall, 5in. wide, 5in. thick!

anyone have any info at all?

The 137 part of the number looked familiar, it is the E.I.A. code for CTS, a big electronics corp.
I don't know if they do xfmrs, take a shot, who knows!!!
