I just cobbled together a 25eh5 in pentode with Hammond 1627SE's straight from a cdp. Anybody heard this tube in pentode mode as output (1.4 watts, 7% dist)?

My
5-buck amp uses 50EH5s (same tube different filament voltage). It is not a bad little amp. Shy in the bottom from the "overlarge" OPTs, but otherwise pleasant.
