good value (i.e. cheap) OPT in uk?

Hi,

You have edcor and cheap hammonds in the states, but where can i find a resonable priced pair of OPT's for an 'el cheapo'. in fact, i would like to get all my iron in the eurozone (power tranformers too).

Although Sowter are very fine, they are also very expensive and hence do not meet your requirements.

Instead look to http://www.bluebellaudio.com/ (Dundee) who import Hammond into the UK.

Also chat to Danbury (Essex) who may be able to help: http://www.danburyelectronics.co.uk/

Although the office is in Belgium, Edcor does have a European affiliation. I bet someone in the UK can get you Edcor OPTs at a fair price.

If you want something cheap try Maplin, they sell O/P and power transformers.
