Completed New Combo Amplifier
Finally completed my new combo amplifier. Channel one is low gain with a stereo mixing input and baxandall tone control to be used with an Ipod. Channel two is from a Deluxe Reverb. The amp is finished in Bombay Mohagany and uses a single 12" alnico speaker. It puts out about 18 watts from a pair of 6V6GTs and uses a 5U4GB rectifier.
The chassis is from flat stock aluminum which I bent. The end blocks are from oak boards. The front and back panels were done in Corel Draw and printed out at home, laminated and glued down to the chassis. |
