Default Ed8000

I saw these power triode tubes for sale, made by Telefunken and supposedly will last for 10,000 hours!

Anybody have built amp with this triode?

Here is the Tube data.

Thanks.

Own the ED8000 myself and thought about an amplifier also - but it seems not to be really promising. Its pretty high transconductance requires appropriate handling, and since thermal runaway is a real issue, a cathode resistor is required to stabilize.
Attached a link to a german page where someone tried it, would say without getting too enthusiastic about the results... And: these little tubies have become really expensive....
