Default Connection Jensen 4-pole

Hello,

I have a question about the Jensen 4-pole cap.

Normally I would connect the center tap to the star earth, but doing so with the four pole cap seems not like it's supposed so.

I would like to use the 4-pole after a CL filter. Should I connect transformer to rectifier, then to first C with wire back to CT. Then from first C to L and then from L to input+ of last C (jensen four-pole) and input- to CT back, and output- to star earth?

Hopefully is this understandable... Normally I speak in diagrams...

Thanks, Bart

That doesn't explain anything about star earth. Should you still connect the center tap of the transformer to the star earth using this capacitor?

Transformer CT to capacitor input -
Capacitor output - , to star earth/audio ground

The transformers CT will be earthed through the capacitor with this configuration. It will maximize the performance of the cap in keeping charge currents out of your audio ground.
