Hi.
I'm thinking of building a active tone control and haveing a little problem with the PSU. Anyone have a design that have B+ 250 V? I have a transformer with sec 200 V AC..maybe i can use that one? Thanks. //Daniel |

UF4007 diode bridge, 100uf cap, 2.5k resistor, 100uf cap, 2.5k resistor, 100uf cap.
You should have about 255v at that last 100uf cap assuming you have a 2 channel tone control drawing around 5ma. For one channel, change both the resistors to 5k (or a little above that, 5.1/5.2, something like that) and you should be pretty close. -Paul |
